Album: National Day For Truth and Reconciliation 2022
This year in honour of the second annual National Day for Truth and Reconciliation Stardale Women’s Group hosted an event in partnership with The Grace Presbyterian Church Calgary and Urban Fare. The event included a drumming performance by the Stardale girls drumming group and a screening of the award winning short film The Road. It was an opportunity to discuss the effects of residential schools and their legacy and included wonderful speeches from Reverend Jake Van Pernis, Eugene Stickland, Vanessa Wenzel and Stardale Executive Director Helen Mcphaden.
